Unique vintage textile sunbed cushion - ST TROPEZ

Seen here on the right, this is the ultimate sunbed cushion in comfort and style, and there will only ever be this one just like this.  Buttoned, beautifully made, with a plain sand backing. One beautiful piece of vintage kantha has been reworked and the soft pink and sand chevrons work like a dream.  A fabulous, boutique piece.

33" W, 80" L

The story behind these beautiful vintage textile cushions.

All of our cushion covers originate in Bengal and are made of cotton which was very intricately running-stitched throughout the fabric and has then been beautifully embroidered. Made before most of us were born, it is impossible not to wonder who has made and used and enjoyed them in the past when they were cotton sarees or bedcovers.  Despite their history, they have a lightness and freshness to them which works in both traditional or the most modern rooms.

They make the most beautiful cushions, combining today's drive for sustainability with so much soul and history.  Each cushion is unique and once it has gone, it has gone!
