PARASOL-UK is run by Polly and Sarah, two old friends who met through their daughters' riding friendships, each with their own long-held dreams which tallied perfectly.
Out of sheer frustration through searching for such a parasol ourselves, we committed to producing our own; the loveliest hand-crafted luxury garden parasols anywhere, inspired by the beauty of India, using the superb skillls of her craftspeople and delivering the best possible customer service.
Now, we are immensely proud that through the work we give our main workshop, Parasol-UK sustains three generations of one family with whom we have developed a relationship over four years. Their craftsmanship is superb, their passion to achieve our common aim is a huge inspiration and responsibility to us and our greatest motivation.
Each part of the process for these flagship pieces has taken literally years of research, trial and error and market research before their launch, with careful thought given to every detail. Every one of our canopies is hand made to fit its own frame which gives the most perfect, couture fit.
We aim to cater to the Western aesthetic and have added some original and practical homeware pieces for both house and garden as well as some fabulous dresses for sunshine days and the ever-popular nightwear for (mainly) the ladies and slouchwear beloved of all!
Customer Service is so important to us; we want you to enjoy every aspect of interacting with us, from browsing the website, following us on social media, to loving what you've bought. We aim to always hold a small stock so that no-one is disappointed if they suddenly want a parasol - there will be no long wait once you've ordered, and we'll keep you informed all the way. We are here to help - please do ask! We can also offer a bespoke service - we have supplied both a restaurant and a wedding in 2023 in designs and colours exclusive to them.
Most importantly, on our travels, with our suppliers and back at base, we have so much fun! We feel hugely fortunate to love what we do in building our range, and that our brand seems to attract the nicest and funniest people, as well as the most stylish!...
