Vintage textile cushions from Parasol-UK

LAASYARI  is a Vintage hand-embroidered textile cushion size 24" x 16" Backed with beautiful stone-coloured linen and a zip.  Part of the LAASHY family but somehow feels more substantial being on a slightly larger scale (although the cushion dimensions are the same).  Definitely has a pre-loved feel but full of character and vibrancy and detail - the sort of piece which an imaginative parent could make a good bedtime story from!  Bohemian feel. Gorgeous as can be!

Pad not included but we would be delighted to help with this if required

The story behind these beautiful vintage textile cushions.

All of our cushion covers originate in Bengal and are made of cotton which was very intricately running-stitched throughout the fabric and has then been beautifully embroidered. Made before most of us were born, it is impossible not to wonder who has made and used and enjoyed them in the past when they were cotton sarees or bedcovers.  Despite their history, they have a lightness and freshness to them which works in both traditional or the most modern rooms.

They make the most beautiful cushions, combining today's drive for sustainability with so much soul and history.  Each cushion is unique and once it has gone, it has gone!
